Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 7, 2014 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Murray Belch (1992). Loving mother of David (Linda), Edward (Fiona), Nancy Smith and the late Ruth (Philip McColl). Proud grandmother of Rebecca, Katherine, Natalie, Sarah and Meghan and great grandmother of six. Dear sister of the late Agnes. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephew. Jean was a long time member of Trinity United Church and active in the UCW. A kind and generous person, she gave both her resources to several charities and her time as a volunteer musician. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 360 Reid Street on Thursday, April 10th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A Private Family interment will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
