Jean lived a full life focused on: the incredible love for her large devoted family; the joy of friendships and long-time neighbours; the beauty of her flower beds and spending time preparing and sharing the bounty harvested from Milton’s garden; the adventure of travel; the commitment to a hard day’s work and creating a home where all were welcome; the enjoyment of sport like golf, bowling, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays; the competitiveness of play with Euchre, Scrabble and Boggle; the creativity of baking and cake decorating; the outreach and hospitality of her church; and the strength of her love and faith in God. Jean was a blessing in this world and the light she leaves behind is forever bright.
A private family service will be held followed by an interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made through www.comstockkaye.com With appreciation, the family requests any donations in Jean’s name be made to Westdale United Church in Peterborough.
