Joan passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on July 5, 2020 at age 85. Survived by her husband Terrance Malone, daughters Catharine (Kevin), Cynthia (Mark), Carolyn (Geoff), Nancy (Ron), and Jennifer (Will), stepchildren (Collins and Malone families), and her many loved and cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents James and Mabel Wood, and brother Jim. Joan’s beautiful smile and compassionate ear will be sadly missed in the many lives she touched, but lives on through the next generations.
Private family arrangements have been made. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough.
