I fondly recall Bill bringing his Dad to my place in Ajax coming back from a medical appointment in Toronto.  It was a nice sunny day and we spent most of the time outside on the deck.  Your Dad was in great spirits, perhaps because of the beautiful day, encouraging feedback from his medical team or probably just because he was spending the day with his son!  

But it did result in some storytelling; he was a compelling teller of tales.  Thankfully time wasn't rushed and we were able to share a few stories and a couple of pints.

We did urge each other to ensure that we would get together again to continue the stories.  It didn't happen but the stories are still alive and I am looking forward to hearing more.

Your legacy lives on Ken!

My sincere condolences to Bill and his family, Kendra and Kaurie their families and also to Dean and Mark and their families. I had the opportunity and the pleasure to know Ken, more through my friendship with Bill then the times spent with Ken. The times I was in Ken's company his genuine Joy of Life, his sense of humour (Bill you come by yours honestly)and his generous gifted storytelling welcomed me both at his and home and at mine. I knew Ken more from Bill's frequent and fond recollections of the importance his Dad had on his life and how it shaped him into the genuine person he is. I know that while his corporal life has ended here, his spirit will carry on through the memories of those his life influenced. No doubt his legacy will be discussed many many more times.
