John Francis Lennox

LENNOX John Francis-Born August 15, 1940 Passed away at the age of 73 on the morning of Tuesday, August 12th at Ajax-Pickering Hospital in the presence of loved ones. John worked 38 years for the City of Scarborough ending his career in planning department. He loved Scarborough especially West Hill where he was raised and lived until his death. The only thing he loved more was his family. Son of the late Dorothy and Henry of Scarborough. Brother to James and Henry. He leaves behind his son Derrick and his wife Sandra Lennox of Peterborough and his daughter Michelle and her husband Kevin Stock of Whitby. John cherished his grandchildren Michael, Rebecca, Tiffany and Eric. John loved watching his grandchildren play sports, reach milestones and treasured every moment he spent with them. After family, came hockey, baseball, playing the horses and outdoor pursuits. John enjoyed teasing and would welcome lively discussions. He was always there when family or friends needed him. John lived his life never compromising his values or beliefs.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service in September. Thoughts and prays are appreciated.
