John Henry Scott

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, February 24th, 2025 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Elsie Scott (nee Burnip) of Ennismore. Survived by his step children, Keith (Karen) Dieroff of Hamilton, Kathryn Dieroff & Nadine Ubl of Stoney Creek, as well as biological children, John, James, Jeff and Joy. Also survived by many grandchildren (Olivia, Violet, Skye, Hunter) and great grandchildren. He will be missed by his faithful dog, Libby. Jack was a man of many interests and talents. He was past Commander of the Peterborough Power & Sail Squadron and the Quinte District Power & Sail Squadron, as well as a member of the Kawartha Marine Modellers and Kawartha Woodturners Guild. A special thank you to his family doctors, their receptionists and the nurses and staff at PRHC. Cremation has taken place and there will be a visitation on Friday, March 7th, from 6pm – 8pm at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough.
