Jonathan Christian Gifford

Jonathan was anything but average. He was a dearly beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, whose presence touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Unique in many beautiful ways, Jonathan will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.

He was the cherished son of John Gifford and Lisa Steen, and a devoted brother to Laura Orsatti, Emily Gifford, and Cecilia Swinnerton. Jonathan was a proud and loving uncle to Zeanix and Finley Gifford, and a treasured nephew to Linda Massinen, the late Glenna Gifford, Beverly Gifford, and Sandra Orsatti.

Jonathan’s memory will also be held close by his cousins: Eric and Sean Massinen, the late Stephanie Harper, Elisha and Daniel Parker, Ashley Hill, Randy Gifford, Kyle Rawson, and Tyler Rawson.

Jonathan’s warmth, individuality, and spirit leave behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. His life, though far too short, was filled with connections and moments that will continue to inspire those who loved him.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at Riverside Community Church, 1040 Hilliard Street, Peterborough from 12-1pm. A Celebration of Jonathan’s life will follow at 1pm. Online condolences may be made at AshburnhamFuneral.ca
