Who passed away at the young age of 64.
Born in Toronto Ontario in 1960, Joe was the son of June Gordier and Joseph McLaughlin.
Living in Toronto, Joe soon became one of the Maple Leaf’s biggest fans. As a young adult Joe was introduced to the family of Bruce and Lorna, who became his surrogate parents, and provided Joe with his first job at Maple Leaf Gardens. After the family moved to Peterborough Joe met his soul mate Judy Edwards, and for the next 33 years they were inseparable.
Joe is survived by Judy, his 3 brothers, Gordon McLaughlin, Ronald Gordier, and Gideon Gordier, and 3 sisters, Margaret Armstrong, Janet McLaughlin and Carol Ryles.
An afternoon visitation for Joseph will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, ON K9H 4C7, a celebration of life (tributes) will be at 2:00 PM.
