Josephine Mary Niskanen

Niskanen, Josephine Mary (1931 – 2017) – Peacefully surrounded by her family at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon on June 28, 2017. Beloved wife of Allen Elmer Niskanen for 66 years. Dear mother of Jo-Ann Sloan (Larry) of Haliburton and Eric Niskanen (Donna) of Etobicoke. Grandmother of Charles Kirkby (Fiona) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Stephanie Robinson (Keith) of Newcastle, Jordan Niskanen and Alanna Niskanen both of Toronto. Great grandmother of Olivia and Owen Robinson, Calvin & Cody Kirkby. Sister of Frances Pidgeon of Bobcaygeon and the late Mary Panofio, Joseph Argier and James Aggieri. Sister-in-law of Mary Aggieri, Len Niskanen, Eric Niskanen, John Niskanen, Laila Houston and the late Ellen Quinlan and Peter Niskanen. Daughter of the late Giovannina and Corrado Aggieri. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 1:15 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. If so desired, in memory of Josephine, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
