Gibson, Judith Louise (nee Pennel) – Teddy Bear Lady – Judy in her 79th year at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on November 11. Beloved wife of Ken (deceased 1985). Dear sister of Jan Mayes (Jerry) of Laporte, Indiana. Fond Aunt of Brian (Kim) and Kevin. Great-Aunt to Ashlyn all of the United States. Predeceased by her parents Reed and Violet Pennel. Judy was well entrenched in the city of Peterborough with the Peterborough Teddies, The Red Hats, past president of Kiwanis. Special friend of the Lunch Bunch Ladies, Gail McKeown, Karen Flynn, Gayle Wilson and many others. As per Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Special thanks for the wonderful nursing and dietary care at PRHC.
