Kenneth Charles Glover

October 23, 1943 – October 12, 2024

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in hospital on October 12, 2024; just shy of his 81st Birthday. Loving husband of Donna for 59 years. Beloved father of Roger (Brenda) and Kimberley (Joe). Cherished Grandfather of Rebecca, Joshua, Dezirae and Jorja. Dearest brother of Kathy Chesher (Noel), Rhonda Davis (Frank), Chuck Glover (Andrea), Judy Glover (Dan) and sisters-in-law Brenda Glover, Mary Orr, Beverley Orr and Shirley Oliver. Uncle to several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edith and Ron and his brother Barry. Fondly remembered by many friends. Ken had a Small Engines Business for many years where he gained much respect, loyalty and friendships. He loved his NASCAR races, camping, fishing, golfing and of course Archie the family cat. Ken ALWAYS had a smile on his face and his Grandchildren were his whole world. Many thanks to the nurses and Doctors in the palliative care unit at Peterborough Regional Health Center for going above and beyond. In lieu of Flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Society or Peterborough Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 9th, 2024 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road Peterborough, ON.
