Larry Sidney Gordon Ferguson

Surrounded by his family at the PRHC on October 6, 2019 at the age of 81. Larry was a very kind and humble man, best known for wearing #7 for the Peterborough Lakers. He was co-owner with his best friend the late Cy Coombes of Coombes & Ferguson Sportland, Member of the Peterborough Sports Hall of Fame and the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Beloved husband of Lynda Joy Ferguson (nee Moore). Dear father of Warren(Jennifer), Kent(Tammy), Brad(Natasha) and step-father of Chad Campbell(Louise). Proud grandfather of Courtney, Jordon(Brooke), Travis, Maddy and Chelsea. Great grandfather of Emila, Edison and Riley. Brother of Sandra Hewitt and the late Gloria Vipond. Brother-in-law of Donald Vipond and the late Edward Hewitt. Pre-deceased by his parents Sidney and Helen. Larry will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, from 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday. Funeral Service will be held at EMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH, on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 12:45 p.m. the Dunlop Lodge will hold a Masonic service and Order of the Eastern Star Peterborough Chapter will hold a Service beginning at 12:00.
