Lenna Isabella Lowes (nee Davis) – Passed away peacefully on April 16, 2013 after a brief illness at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Nelson G. Lowes. Loving mom of Linda Trimble and her husband Bob, Nancy Rothery and her husband John and Marion Quibell. Cherished grandma of Mike Trimble and his wife Sarah, Heather Robillard and her husband Trevor, Denise Squarzolo and her husband Mike, Amy Cochran, Sarah Quibell and Adam Quibell. Proud great grandma of Kaleb, Ashley, Makaya, Shyla, Jayden, Myles, Joshua, Jacob, Natalie and Portia. Survived by sister Gladys Fenwick. Predeceased by her sisters Birdie Purcell and Edith Franks (survived by husband John). Lenna was born and raised in the Peterborough area where she nurtured her family. She was a longtime member of George St. United Church. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Allan Reeve will officiate. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. If so desired, in memory of Lenna, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
