Peacefully after a brief illness, at PRHC, on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Alice Thelma (nee Brann) for 46 years. Loving Dad of Jennifer and her husband Daniel Gottesman and loving grandfather of Merlyn Patterson and great-grandfather of Harmony & Ijah Patterson all of Vancouver. Dear brother of Charles Harrison and the late Eric Exley. He was an uncle of John Harrison, Louise Cox and Ernie Exley and great-uncle of Vicky Pickering & Brian Exley. Leonard was an employee of the T.T.C. retiring after 31 years of service. He belonged to C.S.M. Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, he was a member of P.G.S.W. Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada, Doric Lodge # 316, G.R.C., Verulam Lodge # 268, Bay of Qunite # 620, Wm. James Dunlop # 675, The Heritage Lodge # 730, Kawartha Council # 143, R.A.M. Midland Chapter# 94, Toronto & Peterborough Valley Scottish Rite, Moore Sovereign Consistory 32 °, Royal Canadian Legion Peterborough Branch # 52 and Bobcaygeon Branch # 268. A Masonic Service will be held at 1:00 pm, a Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at 1:15 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, Ontario, 705-745-4683.
