

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 12,
2010 at her new home at Princess Gardens, following
a brief battle with pneumonia. In her 95th year, and her
80th year of service with The Salvation Army in
Peterborough. Pre-deceased by her husband, Frank
Robinson, brothers Arthur, Vivian and Alfred Mills, and
sisters Ethel Lancaster and Gladys McCabe. Lillian will
be so deeply missed by her daughter Susan and son-in-law,
Ian Derby of Hamilton, and her grandson Craig Anderson of
Toronto, as well as her sister-in-law, Alberta Mills, many
nieces and nephews and extended family members and
wonderful friends – old and new. Lillian’s was a simple life
well lived – full of purpose, faith, commitment, love and
humour. We take comfort in knowing that she is now
smiling more than ever – safe in the arms of Jesus.
Visitation will take place at Kaye’s Funeral Home,
539 George Street, Peterborough between 1 and 4 pm.
Sunday, August 15, 2010. Funeral service will be held
on Monday, August 16 at The Salvation Army
Peterborough Temple, 219 Simcoe Street at 1pm,
Major Greg Simmonds officiating, with visitation one
hour prior. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens,
Peterborough. Donations in Lillian’s memory may be
made to The Salvation Army, the Gideon Bibles or the
charity of your choice.
