Lois Edrie McQuaig Ridley

After a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Lois went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on July 9, 2014 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Dave for 51 years. Cherished Mother of Sue Beacock and her husband Tom of Woodstock and Jay and his wife Angie of Newcastle. Proud Gram of Zach and Katie. Dear sister of Shirley Gordon and her husband Art of Peterborough. Dear sister-in-law of Miriam Ferris and her husband Rick of Charlotte, North Carolina. Predeceased by her parents Thompson and Edrie McQuaig. A special thanks to Jane Spencer NP and Dr. David Moorsom and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit. Visitation will be held at Comstock Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, Ontario from 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at Edmison Heights Bible Chapel, 939 Hilliard Street, Peterborough at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Gary McBride officiating.
