

Retired from Bowmanville Chiropractic Clinic. Worked in several Chiropractic Offices, Queensway
General Hospital and Simcoe Hospital. Peacefully, at Smiths Falls Hospital on December 2, 2024
in her 88th year. Lola was the beloved wife of Garnet for 60 years (since 1955). Dear mother of Karen Lavoie (Yves) of Smiths Falls, Ruth Sutcliffe (Ryan) of Orono and Mark Hobbs (Morag) of Orono. Dear Grandmother of Sarah Yates (Travis), Danielle Hobbs, Adam Hobbs and Christina Sutcliffe. Great Grandmother of Kaelyn, Hannah and Elliott. Sister of the late Carman Sararas (Marilyn), Robert Sararas (Barbara) and the late Randy Sararas. Lola will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Nanticoke, Bancroft and Madoc. Lola was a great cook and gardener. She loved camping, and travelled coast to coast in Canada and the USA in her 13 foot trailer, from Newfoundland, to B.C., from California to Florida and all points in between. Lola was proud of her service with Canadian Coast to Coast Calorie Counters, she was a Past District Director of Eastern Ontario and Quebec. Following Lola's wishes, cremation has taken place. A small family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
