Lori Rose Mac Donald Durrant

With profound sadness, the family of Lori Durrant announces her passing on February 20, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer. Lori was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Bill Durrant, and a loving pet mom to her cherished fur baby, Jack.

She was a caring and supportive stepmother to Krista & James Cake and Melanie & John Tomlinson. A beloved daughter of Audrey and the late Jim MacDonald, and a dear sister to James & Kristine MacDonald. Lori will be deeply missed by her nieces, Lexi and Lily, her grandchildren, Jaden, Cole, Logan, and Abby; and many extended family members and friends touched by her kindness and warmth.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, especially the palliative care team, for their exceptional care and support during Lori’s final days.

In honour of Lori’s love for animals, donations to the Peterborough S.P.C.A. or the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers. A service will be held at a later date.
