Passed away peacefully in her 94th year at Campbellford Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on February 20, 2015. Predeceased by husband John Beverly Harris. Survived by brother Albert Beattie (Ernestine Beattie), son Kevin Harris, daughter Lynn Harris (Paul Stevens), grandson Nathan Higgins (Sheetal Rawal), granddaughter Kate Higgins and dear friend Nonie Freestone. A talented artist, avid reader and committed bridge player, who was independent, progressive, and culturally engaged. Treasured memories living on Toronto Island and sailing at QCYC, where she met husband John. Lorna was loved and respected by friends and family and will be deeply missed.
