Lynda Ann Kearney Johnson

JOHNSON, Lynda Ann (Lynda Penrose, retired Secretary at St. Joseph's General Hospital, Peterborough, after 18 years of service) Lynda (Kearney) of Peterborough in her 65th year. Beloved wife of John Laporte and the late Neil Johnson. Beloved mother of Dawn (Steve Jaycocks) of Mississauga and step-mother to Sueanne (Jason Brock) of Lakefield. Proud Nana to Matthew. Daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Kearney. Lynda's loves were cats, gardening and anything British. Many feline friends are waiting for her and her last love Jack is missing her. Close friends Lucie, Dean, Joan and Albert remember her fondly. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Kingston General Hospital for making this week as easy as possible. Special thanks to the nurses of ICU Davies 4. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter St. W. from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A funeral service will be held in the Community Alternative Chapel on Monday November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation.
