Margaret Lois Buchner Lockwood

Passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband; beloved mother of Catherine and David (Karen). Margaret will also be missed and forever remembered by grandchildren, Cristin (Sian) and Wade; stepchildren, Lynn (George), Robert (Samantha) and Paul as well as step-grandchildren, Ryan, Linsay, Corey, Teaghan, Timea and Ben. Also sadly missed by friends, Linda and Shelley. Margaret was also predeceased by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Buchner and sisters, Laverne, Alberta and Beryl.

Margaret will be remembered as a talented director and actress with the Theatre Guild as well as a novelist having published 6 children’s and 3 adult fiction novels. Margaret was also named in the Pathway of Fame.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Rd. Peterborough. A Memorial Service to celebrate a life well lived will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11:00a.m. in the Ashburnham Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Lakefield Cemetery, reception to follow.
