Margaret Susan Eadie Lonsberry

LONSBERRY, Margaret Susan “Marg” (nee Eadie) - Long-time member of All Saints Anglican Church. Avid gardener, reader, knitter and ‘advisor’. Loving Grandma to some but Mom to all. – Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with her family at her side, at Rubidge Retirement Residence, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, in her 86th year. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Leonard F. Lonsberry (1985). Loving mother of Pam Lonsberry of Peterborough, Karen Yatabe (husband Wayne) of Richmond Hill, and the late Barry. Dear grandmother of Chantelle Mahoney (husband Dean), Tracy Devereaux (husband Jason Kilfoyle) and Kyle Yatabe. Loving “Nadie” of Andrew & Riley, Miranda & Rachael. Sister of Ruby Chapman of Toronto, Edward Eadie of Little Current, Kay Purvis of Sault Ste Marie, Joyce Brown of Little Current, Melvin Eadie of Bailieboro, and the late Ross Eadie, Ivan Eadie, Gerald Eadie, Orville Eadie. Margaret will be missed by her dear friend and companion Clifford Gilbank. She will also be remembered by many friends in Minden, Warsaw, and Manitoulin Island. A private family service will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A public Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at the PETERBOROUGH NAVAL CLUB, 24 Whitlaw St., on Sunday, October 14, 2012, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
