Margaret Catherine MacLean

Peacefully on May 29, 2014 in her 90th year, at Canterbury Gardens, Peterborough. Beloved wife of the late Dr. W. Robert (Bob) MacLean. Born in Bedford, N.S., she was the beloved daughter of the late Minnie and Andrew Robb. Dear mother of Rob (Debbie) of Newmarket, Jim (Susan) of Belleville, Margo Palmeter (Tim) of Ajax, and Allison McAdams (Kris Purdy) of Peterborough. Grandmother of Jennifer (Gerhard) and Victoria (Nate), Christopher (Meaghan) and David (Jamie), Sarah and Cameron, Maggie (Garrett), Samantha (Parker) and Alexandra. Sister of the late Marion Christie, Jean Muir, Stuart Robb and Allison Hagen Coady. Great-grandmother to Abbey, Gerhard Jr. and Noah. A celebration of Margie’s life will be held at BRIDGENORTH UNITED CHURCH 832 Charles Street, Bridgenorth, on Saturday May 31, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. The Reverend Dr. Anne Gowans-Blinn officiating. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Margie would be appreciated by the family.
