In loving memory of Margaret Wilson, born February 1, 1936. She passed peacefully on July 10, 2025. She was predeceased by the love her life James Stevenson Wilson (2012) and her youngest son Grant (2013) who was married to Hope.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra McDonald (Ian), son Fraser (Deb) and grandchildren Chelsea, Ainsley, Blair, and Brianna.
Born is Greenock, Scotland on the banks of the river Clyde, she immigrated to Canada by herself at 21 years of age and met her husband-to-be in a Presbyterian church in Windsor. Married on May 20, 1959, they moved to Lachine, QC where they had two of three children and then moved back to Scotland in 1966 to support the family dairy business, where they had their third child. Together with her husband they owned Wilson Dairies and later expanded into grocery stores through south east England. In 1980 they moved back to Canada where they owned and operated long term care homes.
Margaret lived for and loved being surrounded by family. An incredible cook, she loved to travel and dance with her husband. A “classy lassie” Margaret was always well dressed on all occasions. She was an enthusiastic gardener, a lover of dogs, and a good friend to many.
Margaret loved Canterbury Gardens and called it home. She appreciated the camaraderie of fellow residents and the support and attentiveness of the care team.
We was loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.
