It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our loudest cheerleader, our biggest fan and most unconditional love, our Mom. Surrounded by family at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday June 2, 2025 in her 80th year. Our mom Marilyn was a retired employee of the General Electric and a strong advocate for raising awareness for the Peterborough Occupational Disease Action Committee. Loving mother of Cheryl Henwood (Shawn) of Cavan and Jerry Jr. (Julie) of Havelock. Most beloved Nannie of Ethan Henwood and Zachary Rodgers. Marilyn will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm and Thursday, June 12 from 9:45 am – 10:45 am at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from the chapel of the Comstock-Kaye at 11:00 am. Reception to immediately follow the service. Interment Emily Presbyterian Cemetery.
