Marilyn Joan Nelson

Nelson, Marilyn Joan (nee Phillion) – Passed away peacefully at 75 years of age, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, after a tenacious battle with cancer. Marilyn lived in Ajax, formerly in St. Thomas, Ontario

Wife of the late Donald Nelson. Mother of Kathie Johnson (Bruce) of Stouffville and David Nelson (Penny) of Aspley. Grandmother of Noah and the late Daniel. Sister of Ron Phillion, Bob Phillion, Nona Irvine, Wendy Jacklin, Joanne Phillion and the late Brenda and Jack Phillion. Marilyn will be remembered by her partner, Arthur Hippe and many other relatives and friends.

After retiring as a Real Estate Agent. Marilyn was founder of Freedom of Choice in Health Care, as an advocate and promoter of naturopathic remedies. She spent the last years of her life unselfishly giving her time to be the primary care giver of Arthur. Marilyn enjoyed travelling and had travelled extensively through Europe and Asia.
