Marilyn Robertson, lovingly known by family and friends as "Peggy", passed peacefully on March 27, 2025.
Peggy was born on November 17, 1930. She was predeceased by her husband John, her parents Frank and Myrtle Patterson and her four siblings, Eleanor (Chuck Earnshaw), Gerry Marney (Joan) and Margaret Ann (Dave Littlewood).
Aunt Peggy was lovingly referred to as "The Colonel" by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who loved her immensely! Her favourite question was always "Do you need anything? Are you sure you're ok?" always a Caregiver.
Aunt Peggy will live on in the memories of all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives. Be it her family, her neighbours, her friends, members of All Saints Church, or the members in the Bands that she so truly loved to be a part of and received great joy from. A special thank you to all the 3rd floor staff at Canterbury Gardens and especially Marilyn Rummings, her loving friend and caregiver!
We will all miss those good "old" songs she would play for us on her piano.
Aunt Peggy left an indelible mark on all our hearts never to be forgotten. We will miss you but will carry your memory in our hearts.
Rest in peace - you are now Home in the arms of your Saviour!
There will be a public graveside service and committal on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at 11:00 am at Little Lake Cemetery, 915 Haggart Street, Peterborough.
