Peacefully at Springdale Manor, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late ‘Ab’ Albert Charles for 55 years. Loving mother of Colleen (Bruce), Barb (Craig), and Bob (Kendra) and the late John. Proud grandma of Trevor, Kevin, Nicole, Mark, Jeff, Logan, Katelyn and Emma. Survived by her siblings Marnie Gill, Tom McGarry (Theresa), Fran McGarry and David McGarry (Mary-Lynn). Claire was a nursing graduate of Grace Hospital in Ottawa and worked as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 6:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 859 Barnardo Avenue, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, donations in memory of Claire may be made to the Parkinson’s Society.
