Mary Louise Borowski Green

October 31st 1955 - December 15 2023

Passed away, at age 68, peacefully with her family by her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mary Lou was the loving and cherished wife of the late Peter Green, sister of Maureen Paoletti (Jim), Reine Reynolds, Walter Borowski (Jason), and the late Jim Borowski (Heather), loved daughter of the late Walter and Irene Borowski and devoted mother to her fur babies, Lucy (predeceased) and Charlie. She will also be remembered by her friends Marrey, Brian, Pat, Don, Bernice, Sr. Joan, Sr. Eileen, Laura, Ron and other friends, at The Mount and elsewhere.

Mary Lou was an artist who held a number of shows in Peterborough and donated her art for charity auctions. She was involved with various charitable community organizations. including a local food bank and men's shelter. Mary Lou attended Fleming College and, among her awards, earned the Don Flanagan Award as outstanding student with the highest academic standing, college-wide, in the first 2 semesters.

Mary Lou's family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Nishikawa and the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at P.R.H.C.
