
Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family at Springdale Country
Manor on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in her 95th year. Mary was
predeceased by her husband Wilson, her parents Thomas and
Bertha Borland, her sister Edna Leach, her brothers Percival Borland
and Earl Borland and her nephew Robert Leach. Mary was much loved
and will be missed by her niece Jean Monteith, Westbank, B.C., Mary
Leach, Kingston and her nephews Wellington Borland (Margaret) and
Keith Borland (Deneyse) of Peterborough. She will always be loved and
fondly remembered by her greta nieces and great nephews Rob Monteith,
Brian Monteith (Anne), John Monteith, Elizabeth Leach Stevens (Greg),
Margaret Leach Skinner (Colin), David Borland (Donna), Lynn Borland,
Lysa Borland, Richard Borland (Lisa), Stephen Borland (Louise), and
Karen Borland. After graduating from Teachers College in Peterborough,
Mary taught kindergarten in Norwood area for several years and later in
Oakville when she and Wilson moved to Burlington. Marys had a very
strong religious faith. While she lived in Burlington, she attended Park
Baptist Church. She loved to play the piano while the family gathered
around to sing old favorite songs. A Celebration of Mary's Life will be at
KAYE FUNERAL HOME "Memorial Chapel' 539 George St. N.,
Peterborough on Sunday July 3, 2011 at 2pm with visitation from 1-2pm.

Mary's life so cheerful and happy and for the wonderful care they gave her.
