Michael "Sean" Troy

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the age of 76. Sean was the beloved husband of Karen for over 53 years. Loving father of Rob Troy (Tara) and Julie Lewis (Joe). Proud grandfather of Nicholas, Kevin, Maddie, Brianna and Quinn. Dear brother of Shirley Pipkins (David) and the late Paul Troy (survived by Lynne) and brother-in-law of the late Colleen Daniels (the late Ken), the late Pat Cowan (survived by Jake) and Jake Crough (Wendy). Cherished lifelong friend John Flanagan. Sean will also be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 208 Romaine St., Peterborough. Cremation has taken place and an interment will immediately follow the Mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Douro-Dummer. Family and friends will be invited to a reception.
