Martin, Olive May Nov 22 1915- Jan 2 2021 Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center on January 2nd 2021 at the age of 105. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Nelson Martin, loving mother of the late Bertha Jean "Honey" Martin and the late Pauline Olive Wooden. Proud grandmother to Becky McConnell, Jackie Sedgwick, Brenda Bennett, David Olver and the late Marion Bolton. She will be sadly missed by many great, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren. Olive and her husband Nelson built and ran Honey's Lunch Bar in Burleigh Falls, a thriving business that is still in operation today. Olive's gritty independent spirit will be truly missed by everyone she met. The family wishes to thank PRHC staff for their kindness and care. Online condolences may be made at

Dear Aunt Brenda and family,
We are all so very sad to hear of the passing of Olive. Cherish all the memories you shared and be very grateful for the time she was in your life. Olive was a very special lady and friend who I shared special times with.She had such strength and wisdom ,I’m sad to see she has passed but I knew she was growing tired . I managed to keep in touch with her by phone and last spoke to her on her Birthday . My condolences to her family and thanks to Jackie for letting me know she was back in Peterborough .Olive you lived a long amazing life I was blessed to have met you .
