March 11, 1947 – January 29, 2025
Pamela was born in Youngs Point and moved to the Warsaw area when she was 5 years of age. She met her husband Donald at a camp in January of 1968. They became engaged that summer and were married on June 7, 1969. Pam vowed she would never live in the country again but after living on a busy street in Peterborough, that idea soon changed. They lived several places in the first 5 years but eventually built a home on a lot back on the farm. After a few years, Pam convinced Don that they should buy a farm and in 1986 they moved to their own farm where they (mainly she) raised sheep, cattle, goats, chickens and turkeys. Each spring, she spent countless hours back in their maple bush boiling down sap into syrup. In the end she fought cancer and lost.
Pam had many interests and was the spearhead for countless church dinners over 20 years. She was very interested in seniors and shut ins and spent many hours on the phone keeping in touch with them. She also saw to it that they would receive a couple of meals a week if they needed them.
Pam was predeceased by her father Quenton and survived by her husband Donald, her mother Rolleen, a brother and sister, children Craig (Angela), Christopher (Cathy), grandchildren Bailey (Jena), Kyla (Jordan), Jordan, Madeline, and great grandchild Thea.
A private family service will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre followed by interment at Lakefield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Pam would appreciate donations be made to the SickKids Foundation, a charity she has supported for years.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at ComstockKaye.com.
