JOHNSTON, Patricia Gladys (Nee Elliott)

Gone too early at age 74 at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on Monday August 6, 2012, following a valiant struggle with heart disease. Born in Peterborough, Ontario on May 15, 1938 daughter of the late Russell Elliott and Gladys Cowan. Sister of Gerald Elliott (Judy), Joy Schreyer (Edmund). Predeceased by sister Gail and brother Dale Elliott. As a staff member at Peterborough Civic Hospital (PRHC) mental health department for 33 years, Pat adored her colleagues, clients and the positive effect they had in the community. She loved her family, music of all kinds (big Idol fan recently) and games (lawn dart champion for many years running). She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years Norman, son Kevin (Nancy), daughters Lynn Johnston and Shari Davis (Rob Kealey), grandchildren Jeffrey and Brookes, great grandchildren Josh, Brooklyn and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by son Russell. There will be a visitation at Community Alternative Funeral Home 83 Hunter Street West, Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 7 -9 p.m. and on Friday August 10, 2012 between 10 -11 a.m. at St. James United Church 221 Romaine Street with a funeral service to follow. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
