Raymond Harding

HARDING, RAYMOND CHARLES, FEBRUARY 18, 1940 - MAY 17, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond at Lakefield Extendicare in the presence of his adoring wife Margaret, in his 76th year. He was the dearly loved husband of Margaret for 49 years.

Much loved by sister Aileen Cameron (Brian Beacock), brother-in-law Leo Naegeli (Angie Gray), sister- in - law Linda (Ron Ardon) and sister -in - law Barbara Ann (Ernie Lloyd). Ray will be greatly missed by cousins Harry Harding, Ann Murphy and family. Also missing him will be close friends Jon Lambert, Ed and Nancy Terry, and Pat Gage.

Ray will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his favourite pastimes - travel, reading, walking, weightlifting, volunteering at The Hospital For Sick Children, Toronto, (Burn Unit) and Lakefield Library. Ray was a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and specialized in Industrial Real Estate. He served as a director for the Toronto Real Estate Board.

Ray's family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the care and compassion he received from everyone at Lakefield Extendicare, Dr Brendan Hughes (Lakefield) and Veterans Affairs (Peterborough). Thank you all for taking such great care of Ray.

In accordance with Ray's wishes, cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Animal Rescue Krew (ARK) would be greatly appreciated.
