Robert Alexander McFaul IV

August 10, 1941 – February 8, 2026

Robert Alexander McFaul IV, born August 10, 1941, and known to all as Bob, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at the age of 84. He spent his last days surrounded by his loving wife, soulmate and best friend of 31 cherished years Eva, all his children, and many of his grandchildren, a testament to the loving family legacy he created.

He is lovingly survived by the children of their families, Robert "Rob" Alexander McFaul V (Lynn), Tracey (Dale), Wendy (Richard), Kevin (Tammy), and Julie (Derek).

As a beloved Grandpa or Papa, he was adored by his grandchildren: Hope (Blake), Faith (Austin), Wesley, Tyler, Timothy (Christine), Larissa (Davey), R.J. (Alicia), Samantha, Tamara, Ross, Brent, Chase, and Breanne.

He was a proud Great-Grandpa to Juliet, Alexander, Isabella, Anthony, Erin, and Isla.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Robert Alexander "Alec" McFaul III and Thelma McFaul, his much-loved brothers Keith (Sandra) and Don (Therese). He is survived by his beloved sisters Betty (Bill) and Helen (Gene).

A skilled electrician by trade, Bob dedicated an impressive 60 years to IBEW Local 353, where he took great pride in his craft and contributions. Bob was a devoted family man whose life centered on love, connection, nature, and the joy of watching generations grow.

In his personal life, Bob found immense joy in the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing. He particularly cherished time spent on the river with his friends and neighbours of Cedar Bank Rd Otonabee, and volunteering with the Salvation Army Christmas kettles where his generosity and warm spirit touched many.

Bob's legacy is one of unwavering love for his family, steadfast dedication to his work, and a generous heart that gave freely to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
