

As they grew up, they would spend their days running through the woods of Black Creek Park playing “hunters”.
During his teen years he would water ski and practice slaloming on Lake Simcoe, at his favorite place, the family cottage.
Bob’s father taught he and Ed the basic skills of building, which Bob turned into a successful career in Toronto, where he supervised the building of much of Toronto’s skyline including The Chelsea, “Canda’s biggest hotel”.
He later moved his career to Florida, where he and his family relocated. Despite never having played golf, Bob’s career flourished as he built his first golf course on “The Spacecoast” in Titusville, Florida and 3 others soon followed.
Bob loved his wife, Joanne, very much and together they travelled, scuba dived, cruised, would spend time on their boat and weekends in the Keys. It was very much a life that Bob appreciated.
When their granddaughter, Katie, was born they choose to spend their summers, along with their dog Peppi, at their trailer on Rice Lake where Bob found pleasure in simple things like books about crime, classical music, ”Law and Order SUV, butter tarts, date squares, instant coffee, split pea soup and all things dairy.
After living in Florida for 30 years, Bob and Joanne chose to move back to Canada to be closer to family and at the time of his death Bob left behind his children Krista (Graham), Shara (Ed), Melissa (Ron), Ann,
granddaughter Katie, and great-grandchildren Peyton and Wesley.
Bob passed away knowing he was loved. He will be missed tremendously by his family.
