Ron Harris, ardent Blue Jay fan and long-time radio announcer with CKLY radio in Lindsay, CKPT and Country 105, Peterborough was the beloved husband of the late Heather Anne Mary Harris (née Tapp). Much loved father of Gregory of Peterborough. Brother of Sharon La Duke of Angus and Peter (predeceased). Brother-in-law of Cathy McGowan of Sydenham; Mary Tapp of Orono; Allan Tapp (Mary Ann O’Connor) of Marmora; Theresa Kiff (Chris Hengen) of London; Danny Tapp (Darleen) of Peterborough; Gloria Slavic of Peterborough and Angela Mamo (Mark) of Courtice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews., Visitation will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 17th at 12:00 noon at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1066 Western Avenue, Peterborough followed by a Committal Service at St. Peter’s Cemetery. To protect the public, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are limiting the number of guests per half hour for this visitation. The number of guests is also limited to attend the Funeral Mass and Service of Committal.
