I have very fond memories of working with Ron at Kaye Funeral Home and later at Comstock Kaye Funeral Home. He was a great mentor to me. He had a special skill of working with families,  supporting them in their times of sorrow. I will miss him and I am sure that everyone else will as well.

 Ron's family and Ken and family.  We were shocked and saddened to read about Ron's passing.  He will be remembered for his smile and his compassion and thoughtfulness.  We were sorry that we could not attend his funeral but did watch on live-stream.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have known Ron since we were teenagers, thru my connection to the local rock and roll band that Ken played bass guitar in.  I have been fortunate to keep in touch with and see Ron and Ken and other band members throughout the years, and also at both Kaye's Funeral Home and  more recently at Comstock Kaye's.  I was always very fond of Ron, such a gentleman, with that big smile and always time to listen.   I will miss Ron, as so many of his lifelong friends will.  I am thinking about you, his family, and friends at this very difficult time.  May he rest in peace.

I was a Caterer for many years so worked for your Dad, many, many times & got to know him in his environment.  A true Professional, always helpful.

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing.  He was such a kind and genuine compassionate support for families during their time of loss .  Many valued memories of working together and experiencing his warm & friendly personality.  He will be greatly missed by friends & family.  So appreciate the Celebration of Life being live streamed today for those of us who are unable to attend in person to honour his life.

My wife and I were very shocked to hear the passing of Ron and condolences to his family.   I had the good fortune to play on the same hockey team as Ron for many years and his jokes in the dressing room were priceless and always remembered.  Ron could never get his hockey helmet to fit on his head properly, so he would roll up a spare hockey sock and put it on his head and then put his helmet on top of it.   That was classic Ronny...    You will be missed..

We got to know Ron at the Memorial Centre watching the Petes . He was a dedicated fan and always had an opinion or idea on how the team could play better. 

We also knew Ron as we both had houses on Parkwood Circle and had him over to our annual Christmas Open House.

As the President of the Funeral Service Association of Canada I offer sincere condolences to the Kaye family for this loss.  I was very sad to hear of the passing of Ron.  I was fortunate to have worked with Ron and his family at the Kaye Memorial Chapel on several occasions.  In addition, he and I shared a passion for boating that resulted in a couple of visits to Georgian Bay.   Ron was well known in the Funeral Service community as a consummate professional and a natural leader.  He will be missed and fondly remembered.

Ron was a highly revered member of the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough, and had the distinction of being designated a "Life Member" of Kinsmen.  This is only given to those who devote their lives to "Serving Their Community's Greatest Needs".  He always greeted you with that amazing smile, a firm handshake and a  story or anecdote to make you laugh.  His passing is a huge loss to all who knew him, and to the Peterborough community.  He will be missed!

I was so sad to hear of Ron’s passing. Although I have not lived in Peterborough for many years, Ron was very much a part of my friends’ group throughout our teenage years. Ron was a kind, fun loving guy and I have wonderful memories of those days.

It is such a shock to hear of Ron's passing. We are very saddened to hear of a great man at such a young age to leave us. We remember his love of boating and cars and just being a solid guy with a great attitude toward life. My parents were great friends of Ron's parents as well as Ron and Ken.
I will be attending the funeral service at Mark St. on Tues.

Sorry to see that another of my PCVS students has passed.  Ron was one of my favourites in class and beyond.   Positive attitudes such as Ron ennobled over the years are sooooooooo needed in these never-before-experienced-times.  Without question, Ron made this world a better place to live and so I would give him a 100% on his exemplary trip down life's dusty road.  Well done  Ron, I feel lucky to have met you and to share your spark for life.

Sad to hear of Ron's passing, he was a kind man to me in my youth as a funeral director. Remember a lot of laughs with him his father Max and brother Ken when I stopped by for visits. My condolences to the family, he will be missed.

To Ron’s family and friends I offer my sincere condolences. 
I had the privilege of getting to know “Mr. Kay” back in 2004 - I was a new and inexperienced funeral home manager, and Ron was - well… he was Mr. Kay.  Ron always made time to chat and get reacquainted when our paths would cross, but he would also call from time to time - just to see if I was still hangin’ in there.  I am thankful to have had the privilege of knowing and learning from him. 

He will be greatly missed. 

I am sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Ron Kaye and wish to offer my condolences to his family and colleagues during this time of bereavement. I had several occasions to work under the direction of Mr. Kaye. He always treated me well. His passing is a significant loss to his family, service clubs and to Peterborough funeral services.      

Ron and I attended Humber College and obtained our funeral director's licence in 1970.
I last saw Ron Jul 23, 2018 when my wife and I visited Peterborough.  It had been quite a few years since seeing him but always a pleasure to talk with him on the phone. 
Today Oct 1 marks the day fifty two years ago when my mother's funeral took place in Burlington, Ontario. That morning Ron got in his car and drove from Peterborough to Burlington to attend the funeral. What a surprise.  It was something I will never forget and I told Ron every time I saw him or talked to him how wonderful his action was.  That was just the type of person Ron was. Always there for his friends.
I live in Michigan now but am already preparing to travel to Peterborough to attend the visitation and possibly the funeral.

I`m sad to hear the passing , I remember the last time we got together was to a club meeting driving down the 115 , telling  great stories and shaking peoples hands with squeeze and a pulse.... great memoires .... you will be missed.
