Ronald Bertrum MacDonald

Peacefully, at Extendicare Peterborough on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 78 years of age. Ron was a proud Maritimer, born in Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, and later moved to Peterborough. Ron was a very valued retired Employee of the former Peterborough Lumber – Cashway for many, many, years.

Dear father of Mark MacDonald, Terra MacDonald, and the late Deana Stark. Dear Father-In-Law of Chad Stark (Tammy Allday). Dear life long friend of Dale Rutledge (Jean). Loving Papa of grandchildren, Jordan, Rachel, Austin, Payton, Landon, Michael, Rylan, Zion, Evan, and the late Sierra and Avery. Great-grandfather of Hazel. Ron is also remembered by siblings Dorothy (Murray) Layden, Stanley “Muzz” (Betty) MacDonald, Daryl (Bernice) MacDonald, Pat (Betty) MacDonald, and the late Bernard “Bun” (Marjorie) MacDonald, Virginia (Jack) Kellie, Fran (John) Duffy, John (Joan) MacDonald, Dave (Colleen) MacDonald, and Rosanne (Henry) Boudreau.
