Roy Clarence Butler

Passed away with his family by his side on Monday, October 3rd, 2016 at Pleasant Meadow Manor in Norwood Ontario, at the age of 87 years. Roy Clarence Butler, Retired Postmaster Port Union NL and Charter Member of the Port Union Lions Club. Devoted husband of Nita (nee Pike). Loving father of David and his wife Charlene, Pamela and her husband Al Cheeseman. Cherished grandfather of Michael Harris, Lisa Butler, David Butler Jr. and great grandson Riley Whelan. Brother of Eric Miller (Barb) and Ron Miller (Eileen). Brother-in-law of Elsie Blackwood and Linda Dunn (Ray). A Funeral Service for Roy Clarence Butler will be held at the Church of Holy Martyr’s, Port Union, NL on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 PM. Interment to follow at the Catalina Anglican Cemetery. There will be a Reception/Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 16, Catalina following the interment ceremony. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
