Peacefully, at PRHC on Monday, March 21, 2016 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Gordon W. Edwards for 50 years. Loving mother of Jen and Todd Edwards. Dear sister of David Chute and the late Gary Chute. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Mary Chute. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Sharleen will be remembered for her love of nature, shown through her garden and her love of animals especially dogs and birds. Her devotion extended to her community, as she and Gord were members of the Kinette and Kinsmen (Peterborough Mens Club); as well Sharleen volunteered in her daughter’s classroom for 17 years. She was also an avid garage saler.
The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at BRIDGENORTH UNITED CHURCH, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Mount Lawn Cemetery, in Whitby at a later date.
