It is with profound sadness that the family of Shelley Bailey announce her sudden passing in her 62nd year at Peterborough Regional Hospital (PRHC) on July 10, 2024. Shelley leaves behind her beloved children, Ronald and Shantelle (Kalen), granddaughter Ciana and was eagerly awaiting the birth of her grandson in the fall. Shelley returns to her beloved late son Tyler (July 21, 2014) whom she missed dearly. Her fur baby Honey was her pride and joy and constant companion.
Shelley grew up in Toronto with seven siblings: Danny (d), Billy (d), Debbie (d), David (Josie), Darryl (d), her twin Kelley and Janie (Blake). She also leaves behind extended family and friends, special cousin Richie and nieces and nephews: Tammy, Jamie, Tiffany, Matthew, Jordan, James, Ariel, Falum, Sebastian and great nephews and nieces, Gavin, Gage, Noah and Victoria. Special friends Alex, Pauline and Matthew will miss her immensely.
Shelley doted on her granddaughter and loved her horror flicks and was also an amazing artist. When you’re out and about, please grab an ice cap (with extra whipped cream) at Timmies in honour of her.
A graveside service will be held Monday JULY 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1. Fellowship and remembrance at the Royal Canadian Legion immediately following at 1577 Kingston Road (near Birchmount), Toronto. If desired, donations can be made in Shelley’s name to Diabetes Canada. We wish to thank Dr. Marc, nurse Adam and the amazing staff of the I.C.U, PRHC.
