Your time to go.
That night, as lightning flashed and thunder roared
You fought your last battle, to join your Lord.
The morning sun warm; to kiss your glow,
You knew, it was, your time to go.
Each day was exciting, your heart full of wonder,
Our cottage, our haven, to reflect and to ponder
A lake full of diamonds; the waves all aglow.
You knew, it was, your time to go.
We will miss your wit, your laugh, your smile
Ninety-one years, not enough by a mile!
You fought a brave battle; damn Cancer your foe
You knew, it was, your time to go.
With God, find succour, find peace and be free
With love and respect, we all will agree
Tho hearts may be heavy, we won’t let it show
You knew, after all, it was, your time to go.
Your loving daughters, Deb and Janet
