Dear Debby and David and Wilda and Wally and to your children and grandchildren. We were so sad to hear of our beloved Aunt Shirley's passing. She was such a very special person and her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her. I hope that you can take comfort in the fact that hers was a long life and a life well-lived with a loving family which brought her so much joy. Like Craig, I have wonderful childhood memories of the farm and family visits and later meeting up in Port Perry with my mom to see Paula. She had such a wonderful sense of humour and always took an interest in others and their families. She was that marvelous mixture of steady reliability, a creative cook and quilter and ready to share a laugh, which made every gathering that much happier. Although we are far away, you are in our thoughts and prayers, especially Debby and Wilda. Thank you Aunt Shirley for so many good times, Love from us in Geneva, Dale, Reinhard and Deepak

Thank you, Aunt Shirley, for the many, many wonderful times we got to spend with you, Uncle Howard, Debby and Wilda and, of course, Duchess. They were great visits on the farm. Even now, your huge smile and easy laugh come to mind, as does Uncle Howard's musings on the subject of the day. We were blessed to be a part of your family, and to see it grow to include David and Wally and then all of the children and grandchildren. My mom, Patricia, loved to talk with you, Aunt Shirley, and she misses you very much. You were both of the same generation and shared so much history together. We were reminiscing when you met Uncle Howard, and Harold and Calvin met their wives. My mom is also so appreciative of all the times that you and your family came to visit Paula. How she loved to see you! Debby and David, Wilda and Wally, we've known you for so many years, and in this time of sadness you still call and visit and check on my mom. Barb and I so greatly value your friendship and caring, and wish we could ease your sense of loss. We are comforted to think that, somewhere, Aunt Shirley is smiling and laughing at the most wonderful of reunions. God bless.
