It is with great sadness we announce that Shirley Scott passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 87th year on February 9, 2024. Beloved mother of Ivan Scott and Jodie Young (David). A proud Grandma to Isabelle, Tyler, Evan, Travis and Noah. Predeceased by her father Thomas Quinn, mother Stella (Rashotte) and brother Robert (survived by his wife Irene). Shirley will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, as well as many extended family and friends. Everyone who met Shirley, always spoke of how sweet she was; those who knew her well not only knew the extent of her kindness but also her fight. Heartfelt thanks to Extendicare Peterborough, PRHC and the many nurses and PSWs who helped to care for Shirley these last few years. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, 1:00 pm, at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 513 Ennis Road, Ennismore.
