It is with sadness and thanksgiving for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Stanley Earl McCall on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Secure in the knowledge that his family and friends loved him, Earl closed his weary eyes and left us peacefully. We will remember the good times we shared with him and cherish those memories always. Earl was a most loving and devoted husband to Lynda Jane Anne and the late Sandra Eileen Acreman. He was loved and respected by his children Stephen and his wife Kim, Janice, Mark and his partner Sandra. Earl was so proud of his dearest grandsons Taylor and Jacob and he will also be missed by his cousins Gerald McCall and Evelyn Hewitt. Earl will be fondly remembered by John and Mary Carter, Talon and Keelan Clifford, Luke and Sam Morgan and many in the farming community. Earl lived and farmed on the same road for 75 of his 81 years! Earl was a loving son to his parents Stanley and Olive McCall, (predeceased), a much loved brother to Shirley June Brown (predeceased) and survived by brother Jim and his wife Cathy. Dear nephew of Jean Fitch of Lindsay. Earl will be missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. We acknowledge with grateful thanks the compassionate and excellent care of Dr. Nguyen-Ho, Dr. Shufelt, the nurses and technicians of the PRHC Intensive Care Unit, Cath Lab, and the emergency responders. Due to the Pandemic an invitation only funeral service will be held to celebrate Earl’s life. This service may be viewed through Livestream on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Please join through the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre website, scroll to Earl’s service information and press the Join Livestream button.
