Terry Lloyd Mels

Terry Lloyd Mels of Buckhorn, Ontario, age 61, passed away peacefully among family after a brave battle with ALS. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Terry managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time as possible with his family and friends who he loved more than anything else in the world.

Loving son to Maurice and Peggy Mels. The very best dad of Tara (Matthew) and Troy (Laura). Proud papa to Declan, Fiona, Emma, and Della. Big brother to Tammy and Trudy.

He will be sorely missed by his loving sweetheart Angela, and many close friends.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman and someone who was always willing to help. In his final act he gave the gift of life as a Trillium Gift of Life organ and tissue donor.

Thanks to the many individuals who have supported Terry and his family through his illness through their many acts of kindness and generosity.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Aquamation has taken place.
