Thomas Joseph Morrissey – Peacefully, on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at age 76. Beloved husband of Lindy and the late Alexis (2002). Loving father of Tim, Kevin (and Lynda). Stepfather of Kim (Ken), Jeff (Jess). Grandfather of Jennifer and Emma, Joshua, Clayton and Lila. Predeceased by his son Thomas Joseph. Brother of Marie (Wally) Sheehan, Pat (Ida), Bill (Merrell), Michael (Linda) and the late Jack (Diane). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Tom’s career started in Omemee at the Toronto Dominion Bank. After being transferred around South Western Ontario for 26 years, he purchased the McDonalds House in Chesley, Ontario. Next was a Mac truck dealership in Hamilton. Then on to being a real estate broker with Royal LePage in Hamilton. He retired to Ennismore in 2002. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Downeyville. Interment at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Downeyville.
