Viola Emily Edith Lee

Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough, on Friday June 14, 2019 at the age of 97. Devoted daughter of the late Ernest and Sophia Lee. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Herbert (Marg), John “Jack” (Barbara), Wilfred (Mary) and Phyllis (Bill). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement Viola was 44 year employee of Quaker Oats Company. For all of her 97 years, Vi lived in the same house on Cricket place and was a member St. Luke’s Church. Over the years she golfed, curled, played tennis, did Tai Chi, enjoyed travelling, reading, theatre and loved walking her dogs.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service to be held at St. Paul’s Church, 6876 County Road 10, Perrytown, on Saturday July 6 at 11 a.m.

Vi’s family extends their sincere gratitude to Hospice Peterborough for their compassion and exceptional care of their beloved aunt.

Special thanks to Viola’s friend and neighbour, Julia Goodwin, for the help and care you showed Vi.
